Zara Phillips could be losing her title as most sexy royal, as the editor of FHM revealed that Chelsy Davy or Kate Middleton may be taking top spot.

The pair, although not officially royals, are dating princes Harry and William respectively and have clearly made their mark on the minds of men all around the country.

And although the annual top 100 list has not been finalised, it looks like they could be in with a chance.

Ross Brown, editor of the lad mag, said: "The poll has been getting around 10,000 votes a day and these two have already changed places at least twice, but one of them now seems to be on a bit of a roll."

He went on to say that it was usually Zara who earned the title of top totty royal, but that "Chelsy and Kate are looking like they could steal" it.

Over half a million votes are expected to counted for FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World list, which was topped by Kelly Brook last year, with Cheryl Tweedy of Girls Aloud coming in as runner-up.
