A hot new tennis star is to perform in Stella McCartney outfits during Wimbledon as more "designer-label players" are served up at the tournament.

Maria Kirilenko, the 19-year tall, leggy blonde from Russia, will take on her opponents in sleek and sexy tennis wardrobe designed by the daughter of The Beatles star Paul.

"All teenage girls like to look good and tennis players are no different," said Kirilenko.

Her ensemble has been designed by McCartney and Adidas to be both sexy and hi-tech, leading to an all-white tennis dress with hints of a school-girl style along with visor, socks and sweatbands.

In addition, the blonde bombshell will sport fluorescent badges declaring "I'm fit" and has a pocket just big enough for sweets.

While other tennis stars such as Natalia Vodianova are also models clothed by Calvin Klein, Kirilenko is the first tennis star in half a decade to get a dedicated designer outfit to show off her moves.
